Our goal
We want everyone to be able to plan a trip with FunTrotter. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we test pages with automated tools and by keyboard. We don't claim full conformance yet; this page says where we are.
What works today
- Everything can be reached and used with a keyboard, including reordering stops (space to pick up, arrow keys to move).
- Animations calm down when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Light and dark themes, text that scales with your browser's zoom, and labelled buttons and images for screen readers.
- Itineraries print cleanly and can be added to your calendar.
Known gaps
- Interactive maps are hard to use with a screen reader. Every map has the same places in a text list next to it.
- Some photos come from Wikimedia Commons with short descriptions.
- Partner sites we link to (bookings, tickets) have their own accessibility.
Tell us
If something gets in your way, email hello@gofuntrotter.com with the page and what happened. We reply within 5 business days and can help plan your trip another way in the meantime.
