United States National Park, in the state of Arizona
The following areas in the Tucson Mountain District of Saguaro National Park are closed to public use: Bajada Loop Drive, including all of Hohokam Road and Golden Gate Road. The closure is a result of road damage due to flash flooding. The closure will be lifted when the road is repaired, the area is safe to reenter, and the signs are removed. Kinney Rd from the eastern intersection of McCain Loop to the Desert Museum will be closed from Oct 1 - Nov 24, use McCain Loop as an alternative route.
Due to recent flash flooding in the area, the Javelina Wash Trail just outside the Red Hils Visitor Center (Tucson Mountain District) is closed. The flooding caused damage to the trail, which is being worked on. The potential for more flooding presents a danger to visitors and staff. We appreciate your patience as we work to repair the damage.
