ClosureBison Trail Section Temporary Closure
A section of the Bison Trail will be closed Monday, October 5th and Tuesday, October 6th for tornado damaged tree removal.
ClosureVendome Well Parking Lot Closure October 5 - October 19, 2026.
The Vendome parking lot and entrance road will be closed starting October 5th. Work includes removal of the asphalt, reestablishing the drainage slopes, widening the entrance road, protecting the historic stonework, paving the parking lot and restriping the parking lot. Visitor parking is available at Lincoln Bridge. Chickasaw National Recreation Area will be conducting pavement maintenance and micro-surfacing projects throughout the park. Visitors should expect temporary closures and plan accordingly.
